- Her long-delayed third album, Extraordinary Machine, will finally be released on October 4. (August 16, 2005)
- One of her fans, Dave Muscato, founded the Web site www.freefiona.com in an effort to pressure her record label to release her 2003 album Extraordinary Machine. Muscato are collecting signatures on the site, and for every signature, the Free Fiona campaign will send a plastic apple to Sony Music head Andrew Lack in January 2005. (December 23, 2004)
