GOSSIP:	In the FALLEN ANGEL episode of Charlie's Angels, Dalton's character, Damien Roth, is referred to as being like James Bond, which was 8 years before Dalton's first Bond outing. He was first offered the role of James Bond in the late seventies when Roger Moore was proving 'difficult' for the producers. Dalton turned down the role, as he felt too young at the time. Originally considered for the role of James Bond in the early 1970s, after Sean Connery left the role following DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971). He was rejected as too young for the part.
